Stop tracing rooflines by hand
Most quoting apps have you click along the roof on a satellite photo. That takes 10 to 20 minutes a house, and a flat photo hides the slope, so every gable comes up short. Illumgo reads the roof’s real 3D shape.
Measured along the slope
A 6/12 gable is about 12% longer than it looks from above. Tracing on a satellite photo misses that on every peak. Illumgo doesn’t.
Every peak counted
Peaks go straight into your peak charge, so the extra ladder work gets paid for instead of eaten.
Height for every side
Each side of the house comes with its eave height and the ladder it needs, before you load the truck.
From address to approved quote
- Step 1
Enter the address
Pick it from the list. The roof is measured while you fill in the customer’s details.
- Step 2
Choose what gets lit
Runs come grouped by front, sides and back. Untick what the customer doesn’t want, and trace bushes or trees if they’re part of the job.
- Step 3
Send the quote
Your rates are already filled in. The customer gets a link with a night picture of their house and approves it from their phone.
A measurement report your crew can use
Every job comes with a printable report: a roof plan with each run labeled, lengths in feet and inches, heights and ladder sizes for each side, and a count of bulbs, clips and wire.
- Plan view with the street side at the bottom
- One page per side of the house
- Material count with 10% extra
- Your logo on every page

Questions
How accurate is it?
Where the aerial data is good, which covers most US cities and suburbs, it lands close to what you’d get with a tape. Every result shows how good the data was and when the aerial photos were taken. Big trees over the roof or an addition built after the photos can hide edges, so check those on site.
What if a house isn’t covered?
You trace it in the app on a photo or the satellite view, the way you would in any other tool. It takes a couple of minutes.
Do my customers see Illumgo?
No. Quotes, emails and the approval page show your company name and logo.
What kind of lighting does it work for?
Anything you price by the foot: C9 and C7 strands, mini lights, and permanent track lighting. Peaks and two-story work can be priced separately.
How does the free trial work?
You get 7 days with everything included and no credit card. After that it’s $39 a month, and you can cancel any time from your account.
